-After the incident on tour where Davey almost hit Danzigs tour bus with his car while trying to park,poor Dave thought his idol hated him!
But he almost fell of the chair when he was called by Glenn himself and asked to join his side-project!
Though Danzig wasnt directly involved in writing and recording process,it was still lots of fun for Davey,cause he got to write all melodies and lyrics!Recording didnt last that long though.
With London May on drumms,Steve Zing on bass,Tod Youth on guitar,and,of course,Davey Havok on vocals,they recorded album named ´Songs from the earth´,released in 2001 by Nitro records.
Style?Well,the songs actually sound like old AFI(from the first 3 albums).Fast paced punk,with bits of metal and goth.Some even called their music Gothcore(but,define gothcore to me,please...?!)The only thing that puts their songs apart from being completely like AFI is that they tend to generally run a little bit longer than average AFI song.So,nothing really spectacular and new in their music,but if you like AFI,youll like them too...

CURRENTLY: Son Of Sam are working on their new album, but WITHOUT Davey, they hired a new singer, because Davey's hectic schedule doesn't leave him any time for other side projects except Blaqk Audio!
