HAGGIS VEGETARIAN
HAGGIS VEGETARIAN - nessie
Ingredients

4oz of oats
2oz of chopped mixed nuts
200g tin of kidney beans drained
1medium onion finely chopped
4oz of mushrooms finely chopped
1medium/large carrot finely chopped
3tsp of yeast extract
2tsp of black pepper
Sprinkle of cayenne pepper
Small sprigs of thyme,parsley and sage finely chopped
Small sprinkle of nutmeg
Juice from half a lime
Nip of whisky
2oz of vegan margarine
4tbsp of walnut oil

Toast oats in a saucepan with margarine until golden brown
Be careful not to burn
Keep stirring with a wooden spoon.
Fry the onions in the walnut oil.
Add rest of ingredients and mix thoroughly for five minutes to ensure flavours combine
Add salt and pepper to taste
Bake for around 30 minutes in a medium / hot oven
Serve with turnip and potatoes
