STFC Match Review
Thoughts on The Towns Last Clash
Barnet 2-1 Shrewsbury

An injury-time goal by Simon Clist gave Barnet the upper hand against Shrewsbury in the first leg of their semi-final promotion play-off.
Barnet took the lead when Ben Strevens scored from the spot after keeper Scott Howie brought down Liam Hatch.

But Shrewsbury equalised when Sam Aiston´s 20-yard shot was handled by Joe Gamble and Luke Rodgers powered home the spot-kick.

But Clist headed a Ismail Yakubu cross to give Barnet a slender advantage.

Just minutes earlier, Duane Darby had a chance to win it for the visitors but sent his close-range header wide.
