Woh aapne sukh dukh ko saajan

Babul se vidaa lete woh aapne

Main beti bankar aayi hoon

Maa-baap k jeevan mein

Basera hoga kal mera

Kisi aur k aangan mein

Kyon yeh reet bhagwan ne
banayi hogi

Kehte hai aaj nahi toh kal tu
parayi hogi

De kar janam pal-poshkar jisne
hamein bada kiya

Aur waqt aaya toh unhi haathon
se hamein vidaa kiya

Betiya isse samajhkar paribhasha
apne jeevan ki

Bana deti hai abhilasha ek atoot
bandhan ki

Kyon rishta hamara itna ajeeb
hota hai

Kya bas yahi hum betiyon ka
naseeb hota hai ?
