* TO WHOM THE CHARITY (ZAKAT) SHOULD BE PAID?

“As-Sadaqat are only
1) For the Fuqara (poor), and Al-Masakin (the poor)
2) And those employed to collect (the funds);
3) And to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islam);
4) And to free the captives;
5) And for those in debt;
6) And for Allah’s Cause;
7) And for the wayfarer (a traveler who is cut off from everything);
A duty imposed by Allah. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.”
The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 9, Verse 60.

* CAN YOU COUNT THE FAVORS OF ALLAH?

“ And if you would count the favors of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 16, Verse 18.

* PROHIBITING THE KILLING OF A GIRL CHILD

“And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief!” “He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonor or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 16, Verse 58-59.

* WHAT DOES QUR’AN SAY ABOUT SPENDTHRIFTS?

“Verily, the spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayatin (devils), and the shaitan (Devil-Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord.” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 17, Verse 27.

* WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SAY “INSHA ALLAH” (IF GOD WILLS)?

“And never say of anything, “I shall do such and such thing tomorrow.”” “Except (with the saying), “If Allah wills!” And remember your Lord when you forget and say “It may be that my Lord guides me unto a near way of truth than this.”” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 18, Verse 23-24

* THINGS TO DO IF YOU WANT TO BE LOVED BY OTHERS?

“Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Gracious (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 19, Verse 96.

* WHOM DOES ALLAH FORGIVE?

“And verily, I am indeed forgiving to him who
1) Repents
2) Believes
3) Does righteous good deeds
4) And then remains constant in doing them.”
The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 20, Verse 82.
