Back in 2000 a air france concorde left challes de galles airport and crashed soon after take off then it crashed into a hotel. The plane hit some debris on the runway when taking off and it shreded through the right wing and severing the main fuel line.
As the pilot struggled to carrying on raising the nose he stalled it and flipped the plane over. The enquiry that followed fined continental airliners for the debris that caused the crash. Concorde was retired in 2003 after it failed to make a profit
The crash even though more precautions were made. Seems silly that only one plane crashed yet it went bust when the boeing 747 has had over 20 crashes since its introduction in 1966 coinsiedently the same year as concorde x x
