Tour bosses have come up with a "sewer-fire" way of keeping rats away from sightseers in the drains of Vienna. Yes people- the bagpipes. Health chiefs had closed down the popular Third Man tours of the Austrian capital because of the risk of being bitten by rats. These tours will restart from June 12 after organisers proved how the bagpipes sent the rats fleeing for cover. As one tour bosses explains: "We get rid of the rats by taking a bagpipe player down with us, and they sound really great in the catacombs that tunnel all under the city. . .I have 20 players on my books playing all different types of pipes, from Scottish ones to medieval instruments from eastern Europe"
