CONSOLACIÓN EN LA ANGUSTIA
Señor, Señor. No puedo más. Vengo de una larga noche; estoy saliendo de las aguas saladas. Ten piedad. La soledad es una alta muralla que me cierra todos los horizontes. Levanto los ojos y no veo nada.
Mis hermanos me dieron la espalda y se fueron. Todos se fueron. Mi compañía es la soledad;
mi alimento la angustia. No quedan rosas. Todo es luto. ¿Dónde estás, Padre mío? Una cruel agonía se me ha detenido, congelada, en lo hondo de las entrañas.
Dame la mano, Padre; apriétamela; sácame de este negro calabozo. No me cierres la puerta, por favor, que estoy solo. ¿Por qué callas? Mis gritos llenaron la noche, pero Tú permaneces sordo y mudo. Despierta, Padre mío. Dame una señal, siquiera una, de que vives, de que me amas, de que estás aquí, ahora, conmigo. Mira que el miedo y la noche me rondan como fieras, y sólo me quedas Tú, como única defensa , y baluarte.
Pero yo sé que la aurora volverá, y me consolarás de nuevo, como una madre consuela a su niño pequeño; y la armonía cubrirá los horizontes, y ríos de consolación correrán por mis venas.

Aunque me tapo los oídos con la almohada y gruño de rabia cuando suena el despertador... gracias a Dios que puedo oír...Hay muchos que son sordos.
Aunque cierro los ojos cuando, al despertar, el sol se mete en mi habitación... gracias a Dios que puedo ver... Hay muchos que son ciegos.
Aunque me pesa levantarme y pararme de la cama... gracias a Dios que tengo fuerzas para hacerlo... Hay muchos postrados que no pueden.
Aunque regaño porque no encuentro mis cosas porque los niños hicieron un desorden... gracias a Dios que tengo familia... Hay muchos solitarios.
Aunque la comida no estuvo buena y el desayuno fue peor... gracias a Dios que tengo alimentos... Hay muchos con hambre.
Aunque mi trabajo es monótono y rutinario... gracias a Dios que tengo ocupación... Hay muchos desempleados.
Aunque no estoy conforme con la vida, peleo conmigo mismo y tengo muchos motivos para quejarme... gracias a Dios por la vida.

Oración de fin y principio de año
Señor, Dios, dueño del tiempo y de la eternidad,

Al terminar este año quiero darte gracias
por todo aquello que recibí de TI.
Gracias por la vida y el amor, por las flores,
el aire y el sol, por la alegría y el dolor, por cuanto
fue posible y por lo que no pudo ser.
Te ofrezco cuanto hice en este año, el trabajo que
pude realizar y las cosas que pasaron por mis manos
y lo que con ellas pude construir.
Te presento a las personas que a lo largo de estos meses amé,
las amistades nuevas y los antiguos amores,
los más cercanos a mí y los que estén más lejos,
los que me dieron su mano y aquellos a los que pude ayudar,
con los que compartí la vida, el trabajo,
el dolor y la alegría.
Pero también, Señor hoy quiero pedirte perdón,

por la palabra inútil y el amor desperdiciado.
Perdón por las obras vacías y por el trabajo mal hecho,

Te veré en los ojos de todos los humanos —detrás de sus caretas, detrás de las imágenes que ellos pretenden ser. Respetaré la vida que se manifiesta a través de mí, de manera que cada vez que me veo en el espejo, veo la belleza de Tu manifestación.

Quiero darles hoy el perdón que tú me entregas para ellos. Hoy quiero perdonar como Tú lo hiciste en la cruz, cuando tus enemigos eran fuertes. Espíritu de amor, ayúdame a reconciliarme hoy y a restablecer las relaciones rotas o interrumpidas en mi corazón. ¡Gracias, de antemano, mi Señor por esta misericordia que me regalas para entregarla!
Jesús amoroso, te bendigo, te amo y quiero alabarte con todo mi ser, con todo lo que soy. Gracias, mi buen Jesús, por el amor que me regalas, por la misericordia que tienes para conmigo. Hoy quiero presentarte las personas a quienes he ofendido, y también aquellas que me han ofendido. Dame la gracia del perdón (voy recordando las personas que me han ofendido, las ofensas que he recibido a través de mi vida, las heridas que me han quedado convertidas en rencores, en odios hacia alguien o hacia algo).
Señor Jesús, hoy perdono de todo corazón a esas personas que me han herido, a aquella en especial cuyo recuerdo aún me llena de rencor, de frialdad, a aquellos a quienes he herido; te pido que les des la gracia de perdonarme; declaro inocentes a mis enemigos, retiro la demanda que te he hecho contra ellos y me perdono a mí mismo. Como Tú lo hiciste en aquella tarde del viernes santo, hoy le digo a mi Padre querido: Padre, perdónalos, ellos no saben lo que estaban haciendo!

¿Adónde volar para encontrar un cielo infinito de calma y de serenidad?
¿A quién invocar con certeza de fe par conseguir en mi mente la paz del Señor?.
Siento mi corazón preocupado y nervioso; camino anhelante y no sé por qué; siento la sangre agitada y no encuentro explicación; vivo mil sentimientos encontrados que siembran zozobra en mi interior y no alcanzo a ver su raíz. Estoy tan convencido, Dios mío, de que velas sobre todos los que esperan en ti y de que no puede faltar cosa alguna a quien de ti las aguarda todas, que he determinado vivir en adelante sin ningún cuidado, descargándome en ti de toda mi solicitud.

Son diversos los tipos de enfermedad a los que se aplica esta oración: física (para sanar enfermedades e invalideces); psicológica (para cicatrizar las heridas emotivas); espiritual (para restablecer la relación privilegiada con Dios resquebrajada por el pecado); exorcismo (para echar a los demonios) y liberación (para liberar a una persona de la influencia malvada a través de la oración dirigida a Dios); de la memoria (para la purificación de un pueblo o de una sociedad de los males del pasado); intergeneracional (para allanar los desórdenes heredados de los progenitores); de la tierra (para afrontar la contaminación y los daños causados al medio ambiente).
No se puede pensar que la voluntad de Dios sea la de curar todas las enfermedades y males en esta vida. De hecho, hay casos en el Nuevo Testamento en los que los enfermos permanecen tales.
El desafío está en purificarse de actitudes de pasividad frente al mal, de manera que cuando no se da la sanación, la aceptación positiva del sufrimiento se transforma en una actitud de fe y no en una resignación pasiva; la persona que sufre debería por tanto ser animada a perseverar en la oración y en la entrega confiada a Dios.
