When i look at him i see a knight standing before me, with such a mind that is astounding.

The things he stirs inside me
are all so chaotic but fulfilling.

While his mere presence
is so resplendent
it forces me
to cover my eyes, for his beauty is that blinding.

An unknown voice who came quietly calling to me
thro mist and shadow he reached out his hand
i grabbed on, holding for dear life
to lift this broken soul.

Many nights wondering
what had happened to that poor lost soul
did he find what he needed
to feel whole?

He returned again
to be my friend
and together we rejoiced in the rebirth i had helped him discover
turning him into someone unlike any other.

Things were going well
or so it would seem
something went wrong
and ruined everything.

From that time on
things were upside down
and became twisted
no longer what i'd known
as familiar knight.

All was lost.

But there is a saying
at the end of every tunnel
there is a light.

Up ahead in the darkness
a dot of something started to gleam
that i couldn't quite see.

In a moment i was surrounded
by familiar
brilliant light.

Smile upon my face
with nervous hand i take
the outstretched warmth before me
once again to start this journey
with an old familiar friend.

Let's hope
this
journey has no end...
