The differences between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan seem to be widening after their recent brawl in Katrina Kaif’s Birthday bash. In a recent interview to the media, Salman simply refused of any possibility to patch up with SRK. Though, he voiced against labeling the controversy as a war, but he still admitted that both Khans never see eye to eye. "No. Shah Rukh and I will never patch up" said Salman. He also hinted towards his previous clashes with Vivek Oberoi, "When I have never spoken about Vivek Oberoi, why should I speak about Shahrukh?"
According to sources, one night Salman got heavily drunk and asked his driver to take him to SRK’s house. On reaching there, he started threatening Shahrukh’s family. However, Shahrukh was not at home and his guard barred Sallu Mia from entering the house. The guard informed Shahrukh about the incident. By the time Badshah reached home, Salman had already left the place. Salman was heard yelling, "bahar aa sale, main tujhko dikhata hoon kaun asli Khan hai!"
An eyewitness told the media about how the fight sparked off between both Khans at Katrina’s birthday party. The three Khans, Salman, Shahrukh, and Aamir were sitting together and chatting to each other. Suddenly, SRK came out with an idea of a movie in which all three Khans could act. However, Sallu didn’t agree as it requires a dedicated script and a good director that can be a challenging aspect. Our benevolent Sallu Mia, however, suggested of doing a stage show and sending this money to the Prime Minister’s fund
At this, Shahrukh joked that Salman was becoming conscientious these days. Earlier, he got someone operated and now the new thought of PM’s fund simply amused him. Salman had a new point to add, "Now that we’re all above 40, let’s stop talking about films, and do something that will stun the whole nation. Kuch mardonwali baat Karen." SRK took the comment unkindly, and popped up an off-colour joke about Aishwarya Rai. This annoyed Salman and he started abusing King Khan. This resulted into a fight between both of them until the duo had to be dragged off to the opposite directions by other guests present in the party.
The tiny altercation leads to furious clashes. But, we felt impressed by Sallu’s thought of stunning the nation with a benevolent gesture! SRK- it’s time to think about humanity when you have made crores from your movies.Cheers to Salman

Family Feud was never THIS good! A raging rivalry between two of India’s biggest screen stars has worsened after the April wedding of Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek to Aishwarya Rai created the ultimate Bollywood power family.
For years, India has watched the popularity battle between the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, a veteran who ruled the Bollywood box office for decades, and younger superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the reigning hero with a massive fan following.
In recent years, the two stars have taken subtle digs at each other in public although the rivalry was seen to have remained healthy in an industry known for its cliques.
Apparently no more say industry analysts. “With the marriage, the Bachchans have become a formidable commercial package,” said Bollywood commentator, Derek Bose.
“Brand Bachchan is now a threat to others. It has worsened the Bachchan-Khan rivalry, sparking new power equations.”
Team Bachchan: Amitabh and Abhishek are the father/ son tag team duo
The Bachchans omitted to invite Khan and most of Bollywood to the wedding, leaving little doubt about who their friends were.
On the other hand, Khan is suddenly seen bonding more with Bollywood’s two other stars — Salman and Saif — who also share his second name. A few other stars too like Hrithik Roshan, once close to the Bachchans, are seen to have fallen out with them.
“There seem to be two clear groups in Bollywood now — the Bachchans and the Khans,” said Bollywood analyst Taran Adarsh.
Bachchan, 64, and Khan, 41, say their so-called rivalry is a media creation, but those claims have often been contradicted when they’ve taken potshots at each other.
With the Bachchans getting bigger in brand equity, the Khan-Bachchan rivalry is not confined to the Bollywood popularity stakes but has taken on an economic dimension too, analysts said.
Prahlad Kakkar, an Indian advertising guru and friend of the two warring stars, said the formation of two big camps could limit producers’ options and raise the cost of filmmaking.
“The polarization in Bollywood will cause casting problems for producers,” he said.
The rivalry has not only split Bollywood — with only a few big producers on good terms with both actors — but also divided loyalties among influential industrialists and politicians.
While Bollywood is no stranger to cliques, analysts say the Bachchan-Khan spat has taken star rivalry to a new low. And this could change the complexion of Hindi cinema-making.

According to sources, Amitabh Bachchan was not too happy with the screen time that was given to son Abhishek Bachchan in KANK. While Shahrukh is definitely the star of the film and appears in almost every single frame of the film, Abhishek comes across as a mere second fiddle. Sources say “It was obvious that Karan would give more footage to Shahrukh, but Amitji didn’t expect the film to have Shahrukh in each and every frame. It upset him because Abhishek is a very big star now and he has an image to protect.” Hence sources claim that in order to calm and pacify the upset Bachchans, Karan has shot a separate song featuring only Abhi and Preity on the number ‘Where’s The Party Tonight’.
The rock n roll song features a huge lavish set up with Abhi and Preity gyrating to the music. According to sources Karan Johar has unfortunately been dragged into this underplayed rivalry but he is trying to maintain a neutral ground as Shahrukh is very close to him, but at the same time he is well aware of the position and clout that the Bachchans hold in the industry. Karan was earlier too dragged into this rivalry when he wanted to launch the music of KANK at the IIFA 2006 in Dubai. However Shahrukh claimed that he was holidaying with family in London and hence would not be able to go to the IIFA’s . Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of IIFA. So Karan had to launch the music of KANK first in London with SRK and then once again with the Bachchans at the IIFA in Dubai.

Salman Khan versus Shahrukh Khan
There was a time when for Salman Khan, love was in the air, and with love came the possessiveness, (typical Bollywood masala, isn’t it?). He gate-crashed on the sets of Chalte Chalte, to check on his girl Aishwariya Rai.
But, in that fiasco, he lost a friend in Shahrukh Khan. Yes, this was just the beginning, because after this incident they stopped speaking to each other. Ash was out of the film and later her relationship with Salman also broke up!
So Shahrukh Khan and Salman were standing like two pillars, not ready to talk, the Karan-Arjun of Bollywood was separated. Until at last, at choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan’s wedding they wept, kissed and made up for the four year long fight!
But but but, the nasty comments still haven’t stopped. When Hanuman and Don were releasing on the same day, and SRK was asked about the clash of Khans, he answered that he knows only two Khans, one changes and other Shahrukh Khan ! Who was he trying to ignore, I wonder?
On the other hand when asked about Don overpowering Jaaneman, Sallu replied that Shahrukh has the abilities to promote his films well. So, the cold war for these titans is on, and will go on. For some, King Khan is the real Khan, while for some Salman rules! It’s upto you to decide.

You call it Jodi No 1,coz it churns out good money at the box office. But, real life says something else. Their chemistry may be rocking at the box office, and leaving people on the edge of their seat, but the truth is that, in real life, there is some kind of friction between both of them. They are friends, but like any other two people in the industry.
Moreover, during the shooting of Jaan-e-mann, a fiasco is supposed to have happened, with Salman Khan and Mrs. Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, supposedly getting cozy in a discotheque (I wonder how much of this is true) and Akshay Kumar landing at Salmans place for clarification. But, the actors are so professional that they don’t let those emotions show in any of their performances.

Have we ever heard of anything friction between these two? Actually no. Undoubtedly “Andaz Apna Apna” is still a hit, Salman and Aamir’s chemistry was rocking, and believe me, many people are still waiting to see this pair together again. But I wonder now, will they be friends, or will the competition of being The Biggest Khan become bigger than the film?
Salman Khan versus John Abraham
This is the most interesting chapter. After a fiasco at the Rock Star World Tour, which they did together, they were quoted as openly passing snide comments about each other. But, to my surprise, Salman commented on John’s lean look, and John replied. Well, they are now trying to connect to each other through media, but the truth is both the Babul stars, simply can’t see eye to eye.

Objectively, I feel that I'm a mediocre actor who has improved over the years.

Juhi Chawla is a very good actress, most of the time she is better than me. If I'd done Darr, I'd have played Shah Rukh's character more intensely and less stylish.
The wildest rumour that I've heard myself? One, the alleged affair with Madhuri, second, that I'm divorcing my wife to marry Pooja Bhatt. And third, that I'm trying to influence Rajkumar Santoshi to cut Salman's role in Apna Apna.
The press can say anything, get away with anything as long as they put a question mark at the end.

Even when Pooja Bhatt was supposed to have said that she had an affair with me, I wasn't rattled. She left a dozen messages on my answering machine after the article appeared. She said that she'd been misquoted by the magazine. I'd rather believe Pooja who's a friend than a journalist who isn't. Some magazines are using all sorts of armtwisting tactics to make me speak to them. The more filth they write, the more I'm determined to stay away from them.
Juhi and I have spent hours in each others's make-up rooms. We don't care a damn abour filthy minds.
Perhaps the youth wouldn't have come out of an Amitabh Bachchan film behaving like anti-social elements if he had influenced them positively.

Just as a country deserves the politicians it gets, we deserve the kind of films we get.
I feel targeted when magazines malign me unnecessarily. They keep ignoring my good work and success. They highlight my failures, they write that I've had countless affairs. Such reports irritate me.

Only body-builders are made like Stallone and Schwarzenegger. But I could play a body-builder of a different size.
None of my directors have accused me of interference. Such allegations have been thrown at me by the film press.
There are times when I feel insecure but never insecure enough to sign on 10 stupid films.

I've spent a fair amount of time with Shah Rukh Khan during some shows we did together in the US and UK. He seems to be a nice guy.
No doubt Naseeruddhin Shah is one of the most talented actors around, but I would put it this way - he is not the easiest of people to work with. It has got to do with professionalism more than anything else.
I wasn't happy working with Salman Khan in Andaz Apna Apna. He's badly behaved and extremely unprofessional. No, I didn't enjoy working with him.
