Old Firm In Talks With Football League:
Football League officials have admitted to holding talks with the two scottish clubs, Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic for them to join the league.
The move would come as a god send for most clubs. As both scotish clubs have such a world-wide fan base, T.V. companies would pay big money for the rights to there games, and so for having to pay the other clubs for T.V rights to the team.
This money would to most clubs be extremely helpful, following the colaspe of ITV Digital, of which Carlton and Granada are still refusing to pay the £172million owed to the football clubs all over the Nationwide leagues (Leagues 1,2,3 and some conference teams).
Yet sadly, even if the clubs move south of the border, this will not help the 2nd and 3rd division who at the moment are in more trouble than anyone.
