One of the traditional world who still lives in the waters are an ethnic Intha. This tribe live and earn a living on Lake Inle. As many as 70 thousand citizens of Ethnic Intha settled in Lake located 900 metres above sea level in Myanmar.

Intha peoples live in the traditional simple stage houses made of bamboo and wood. Everyday, they use transport of small boats. Uniquely, Intha fisherman controlling the boat no with oars. However using the legs. This is a legacy of The tradition of hereditary because the water of Lake Inle covered by many grass. To simplify the way they must paddle boat, using legs while standing. In addition to being the Intha fisherman, also earning a living by building gardens that float above the Lake Inle.
