10.GAGA BEACH - a gay beach in Goa ?
The beach is named by us in the gay group as GAGA BEACH, the GAyGoAScene Spot where guys can meet. It is a nice walk to this beach, which is also called little baga. One has to get to the Baga Bridge and go to XAVIER RETREAT HOUSE. There is a small Cross, around which one can park bikes. Take the little wall entrance to squeeze yourself through. After a nice trek of an around 5 minutes you come to OLA !! a beach which mostly gays frequent---> GAGA BEACH. Incidentally someone was saying the other day that GAGA in Danish means a little crazy !!! Hey isn't it a place for folks to get crazy .
11.COLVA BEACH
Around the main traffic round about is nice in the evenings .
Happy cruising and check out for yourself at your own risk !!!
VISITOR'S COMMENTS :
This is what some of the local guys had to say this about their cruising:
"....the GAGA BEACH is quite a cool place, something happening almost everyday”
".... in the late evenings we head towards the CALANGUTE STEPS, which can be very cruisy."
"....normally pick up guys from the CAMPAL PARK(PANJIM) & in the evenings. But I have to be careful about the commercial boys (prostitutes) and the COPS too...."
"I normally drive around the city and ask the guys for lifts. The usual opening lines like. "do you have a light?", "where can I find some fun?", and seeing the response I then drop a few hints and see how it goes."
"....oh the cute GOAN LADS with earrings in their ears( probably left ear ?? ) and HOLDING HANDS around guys while riding bike and on the street were not at all gay"
WARNING !!!
Western tourists should beware of guys approaching them asking you if you want young boys on most of the beaches...these guys are almost always well underage. The sexual abuse of children sadly flourishes in Goa and you can get into deep trouble. Pedophilia is illegal so DON’T promote it. And please be careful of your belongings. You might also want to check with your hotel regarding having guys come over.
