Kyrgiakos rejects Rangers offer

Greek defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos will not be joining Rangers on a permanent basis after rejecting their latest contract offer.
The 26-year-old was on loan at Ibrox for the second half of last season but negotiations over a permanent deal have been complicated.
Now chairman David Murray says Rangers will look elsewhere.
"This is the end of the matter as far as we are concerned," Murray told the Scottish Daily Express.
"Keeping in mind we signed him in the knowledge that he had undergone recent surgery and were taking a bit of a gamble on his fitness and availability since January, we are surprised the way things have turned out.
"The player was offered a deal which would have seen him earn £1m a year if he played 90% of our games, but his new adviser decided to reject those terms despite the fact they do not have a better offer from any other club in Europe.
"Chief executive Martin Bain has travelled thousands of miles to Greece and Italy to speak to the player and his agent, but we have not been able to make enough progress with them.
"I understand he is now being hawked around Europe, but we will be looking elsewhere."
