Those who have communion with GOD in secret will not be put to shame in the day of days, The LORD knows those who are HIS, even though they may feel they are not known by HIM. The mark by which they are known is PRAYER.
THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF PRAYER.
**SECRET PRAYER** may be just a sighing after GOD. Often this sighing is not associated with words, a form, a time ,or a place. TRUE PRAYER IS NOT BOUND TO OUTWARD FORMS WHAT MATTERS IS THE** HEART**.
**PERSEVERING PRAYER**(Matt. 15:22-28) Occurs when the sinner experiences the darkness of a closed heaven, and yet would rather perish than let go of GOD.
**HUMBLE PRAYER**(Luke 18:13) Is when a person bows so deeply before GOD that he recognizes only two possibilities:DEATH or GRACE. Here a sinner truly recognizes his sinfulness.
**BOLD PRAYER**(Heb.4:16) Goes with humility because boldness is found in CHRIST and not in the one who prays. Only the humble have this boldness.
**TRUE PRAYER**( Rom. 8:26,27) IS worked by the SPIRIT of prayer, HE inclines the heart to conform to the will of GOD and HE helps the weaknesses of those who pray with wordless groanings so that they receive only what is good for them.
** PLEADING PRAYER**(John 16:24) Is exercised when one who knows he has no rights ,has a pleading ground outside of himself, which is the name of the REDEEMER and SAVIOR ,JESUS CHRIST.
