Navratri is a grand celebration to commemorate the Godess of Power-Maa Durga. It is hold twice in India, once in the month of Chatra (March-April) as Vaasantik Navratra and the other in Ashwin (September-October) as Shaardeya Navratra according to the Hindu Calendar. Both of these Navratri Poojas are taken in high spirits in the country. The festival is celebrated with immense zeal and devotion for nine days.
