“Adugadha meehun ruhginavaane”. This is an old saying shared by all over the Maldives. What it means is that if the person is loud enough to speak, he would probably have more coconut palm tree. This practice is very common in our beloved island. Same people are taking the decisions while the majority is opposed. This country is democratic, that’s the strategy that we need to approve in our islet. Let’s talk about youth cup 2006. Lately we have got 2 mails, one from a boy around 17 years old and the other from a man around 25 years. Both mail’s concept was same. They have mentioned some rude words against respected people, but I m not thinking of revealing their names in this article. But my point is, if they chose the players fair enough would they complain. Their strongest petition was about how they used to settle things. For instance, they used teen boys to earn by working in island, but when it was about a trip to Hirunbadhoo (no matter what it was about), they were disregarded.
