The late Rev. Alfred Chu Hing (Ata´s grandfather) have ministered to his roots for a number of years before he passed on. Ata, yet stayed well connected with his roots, Ata´s cousin Loreen (picture above) resides with him in Happy Valley, Maui and it is a delite to Ata because not only is she a cousin but a native speaker, speaking the rare dialect, wala´au kanaka - a dialect spoken daily and only by Ni´ihau natives.
