I want you to have this question in mind;
What Day am I free?
Mostly it will be sunday, for most people...
What i want all of us, to start, if anyone hasnt started it on their own is; Weekly reading of the Quran.
Someone, mentionshing no names, may Allah reward them with nothing but jannah, for starting this small idea, ameen.
I suggest the following, from the instruction of the person.
Sunday 9.00pm or 10.00pm - 30 Mins Minimum, to 1 hour (more if you want to).
And it should be every week. Reading the Quran. Starting now and continuing.
Feedback is appreciated... Why not start this small thing in our lifes...?
Some hadiths about the quran?....
"Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a hasanah (good deed) from it (i.e. his recitation), and the hasanah is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is (considered as) a letter, rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter." [At-Tirmidhi, Ad-Darimi]
"He who is skillful in reciting the Qur'an is with the unveiled, honorable, and pious (i.e. Hur al `Ain). And he who stutters when reading the Qur'an, (and its recitation) is difficult upon him, will receive two rewards." [Al-Bukhari]
"Read the Qur'an. For verily it will come forth on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its readers." [Muslim]
"Maintain learning the Qur'an, by heart for verily it is greater in escaping from the chests of men than camels from their reins." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
"It will be said to the beholder of the Qur'an: 'Recite, ascent and rattil (recite slowly and distinctly) as you used to rattil in the life of this world, for verily your level (in Paradise) is at the last verse you read." [Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi, Sahih]
Mu’aadh bin Anas (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allaah said: “Whoever recites (Qul huwallaahu Ahad) ten times, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
Please do reply stating if you wish to start it, or what you think about this idea.... or if you wish to start it without saying please do so.... we should not waste time.... only 30 mins out of our 24 hours.....
do tell others about it.... only once a week, on a sunday.... at night or even morning if you want... or any other day that you are free have a have only 30 mins free.... set it aside for this great rewarding task....
