Nadine Muse,and EUROPEAN FILM ACADEMY CRITICS Award(Prix Fipresci).George Clooney's Good Night and Good Luck won the Prix SCREEN INTERNATIONAL,which is given
to the best non-european film,while Sean Connery received the EFA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT Award.The better known actress Juliette Binoche( Cache ) or Audrey Tautou
(Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles/ A Very Long Engagement) lost the race for the EUROPEAN ACTRESS to Julia Jentsch (Sophie Scholl die Letzten Tage/Sophie Scholl
-The Final Days). EFA DOCUMENTARY Award-Prix Arte-went to the French Nino Kirtadze's Un Dragon dans les Eaux Pures du Caucase( The Pipeline Nextdoor), while
BEST SHORT FILM was Undressing my Mother by Ken Wardrop of Ireland. The People's Choice Awards were a little different:Marc Rothemund(Sophie Scholl-the Final
Days)won the BEST DIRECTOR,Orlando Bloom(Kingdom of Heaven)was the BEST ACTOR and the same Julia Jentsch received the BEST ACTRESS Award. OTHER WINNERS :
