TorsoHorse The Creation Part one. {Read Review later on this page}

TorsoHorse are a three piece band, that sound as good as any five piece band that I have heard. The sound is reminiscent of the old metal bands that I listened to as a teenager. The crisp drum beat of James as crisp as anything I have heard in a long time { his solo on Freak Show absolutely blew my mind}. Mixed with the Bass of Steve that would not be out of place alongside the likes of Steve Vai amongst other great rock stars. Combine this with the voice and devine riffs of Adam as the front man, you will be easily forgiven for thinking TorsoHorse are a band that have been on the music scene for many years. I kid you not, once heard you will want more, I am proud to be part of this bands Street Team. They have just released their first DVD and are currently working on their new Album due to be released in 2006.

Torsohorse Creation Part one

Torsohorse Creation Part one is the first DVD released by the band. Here is an insight of what you can expect on this dvd.

Music Videos

In My Head

The opening sequence of this video featuring a doll is reminiscent of some scenes from Horror movies, that is only more accentuated by the heady mixture of fake blood and gore that covers the fans in the video. The fans that are writhing about at Adams feet seem to be filled with both pain and ecstasy at the same time adding more ambience to the image of horror. Combine this with the Freddy Krugger look of Steve on the bass and the manic appearance of James on drums, and the sinister mixture of dripping liquid plus sporadic flames that leap upon the screen. The In my head video is both scintillating and disturbing finely adapted to the song TorsoHorse are performing. Everything my morbid mind could ask for in a music video.

Dragging me down

Dragging me down is on of Torsohorses better known tracks. It is also one of my personal favourites. The superb vocals of Adam combined with his heavy mix of guitar riffs. The heady drumbeat of James brought to us from behind wire fencing, and the bass work on this track/video by Steve to say the least is bloody awesome. Combine this with the scantily clothed dancing females and head banging Fans. Enclosed in a Barn that has been nicely converted to this set, and you are left with one sound and captivating Rock video. {A must be for any Torsohorse fan}

The Angel You’ll Never Be

This has to be without a doubt my favourite and track and now video by TorsoHorse. It is hard to believe that its shot independently by the band. The reflective work and jumpy framework gives us as viewers a trippy experience. The one wants to know if Steve owns a striped jumper and razor glove. Watching him in his hat and make-up on this video takes me back to many a happy hour watching the Nightmare in Elm Street collection. This video has to be one of the best music videos I have watched in a long time. Knowing that it was shot by the band and their crew at Barn Studios independently makes it even more enjoyable to me as a fan…..

Let it out {Live}

The Let it out loud video is quite simply what this band does best. Good music, excellent lyrics. Performed on stage superbly and live in front of their Fans. Who are simply going mental. Everything you want from a Metal band. To watch this video, is to see that sometimes three can be better than five Adam, Steve and James combine definely on this video to bring us the viewer a mouth watering cacophony of sound.

Take all of the above and throw in a nice sneak preview of the band working on their forthcoming Album. Then on top of all this they toss in some nice bonus features comprising of their unique family of Fans, Friends and Crew. Not forgetting a damned cool dog and absolute mental cat. Then add a decent Photo gallery of the boys. This all adds up to a superbly worked DVD that the band produced independently at Barn Studio’s. Giving us the Fans and entertaining insight into the World that is TorsoHorse.

Thanks for signing my copy for me Adam, Steve and James.
