~ * ~ Try yoga or Tai Chi. It increases ur physical well being as well as mental state & relaxes u ~ * ~

~ * ~ Meditate! Its hard at first to be focused on only one thing - ur breath - but it is very calming & healthy. Count ur breath inhaling 1001, 1002. Then exhaling 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004 then repeat until ur body starts to tingle. Ur body will feel like this because it isn't used to so much blood passing through the veins at one time. But don't worry, this is a good thing ~ * ~

~ * ~ Many people who are anxious have a low self esteem. If this is u, get a pen & paper & write down everything that u like about urself. Good news is, many people with anxiety are very intelligent, analytical & creative. Bad news is they use those good qualities & turn them into 'what if...' or they make things a bigger deal than they really were, or they demand nothing less than perfection from themselves. Start thinking positively about urself & expect less from what u do ~ * ~

~ * ~ If u need to vent, ask someone close to u for advice & tell them how u feel. Sometimes just putting ur feelings into words can take a lot of stress away! If u don't feel like u can talk to someone, write it down on paper, whatever comes to ur head. Then come back an hour later & read it. U'll be surprised at how much u can learn about urself this way ~ * ~
