At first I wondered why people were so eager to decorate their homes inside & out from early november. It seemed insane 2 me. When I was little the decorations went up no more than 7 days before christmas and this became the magical time. Now theyre up for such a long time that the magic has gone. It seems to me that people are desparate to have faith in the world again, instead of facing up to todays degenerate society of assault, robbery & murder. Now the youth mug people for kicks & no-one feels safe. Christmas takes us back to a time of community where people opened their doors to strangers with good cheer. The human race needs a sense of community.
