Why is it that criminals are now recieving compensation for being made to go cold turkey from drugs when sent to prison. I personally think there was nothing unfair about the way they were treated. They are criminals and in committing their crimes should know that they give up all rights to anything that comes with freedom. If prisons were dirty, draughty cells with little time outside, very little to do & terrible food, instead of the holiday camps they currently appear to be. This would be more of a deterrant to people considering committing a crime, and we'd have a lot less of a problem with over crowding and tax payers money could be spent on something constructive.
