Why is it that dog dirt is so frowned upon? Dog owners are told to clean it up or risk a fine. Now i personally have no problem cleaning up after my dog but what bothers me is that horse owners dont have to clean up after their animal. It's much more likely that a pile of horse dung will cause a problem on a public footpath than a bit of dog dirt as there's so much more of it! Also as it is a public pathway, surely ALL the people who use it should respect other users and clean up after their animals.
