So now the "experts" think that bio-fuel might be responsible for the current food shortage. My, what brains we have in the research areas. I'm quite sure this was said ages ago by environmentalists, when bio-fuel first became a more popular option as a sustainable fuel. But as usual, the governments surge forward with the idea without fully looking into it and considering the consequences. It's obvious when you think about it that if fields are growing resources for bio-fuel, there will be less room for growing food crops, and with an increasing world population requiring more space to live. Well, do the maths. Eventually something's going to have to give. There needs to be a drastic change if any real impact is to be made. Instead, governments do what they do best, make it look like they're doing something to win votes whilst actually just grasping at straws, not actually doing anything productive and only worrying about something that affects there own pockets. What's new?
