The Place Where Legends Live On
SIX new candidates joined the elite band of men who have already been inducted to the illustrious Hall of Fame in 2004.
Nearly 15,000 votes were cast as Gers fans selected their favourites from three different eras - the 50s and 60s, 70s and 80s, 90s and 00s.
The six winners - Ronnie McKinnon, Davie Provan, Tommy McLean, Chris Woods, John Brown and Barry Ferguson - received their awards at the Hall of Fame Gala Dinner at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel on Sunday, February 1.
Some great players have worn the Light Blue over the years and it is fitting that they are recognised.
That's why Rangers conceived the Hall of Fame - the place where legends live on. Chairman David Murray set it up in 2000 to honour the exploits of our heroes using five criteria:
1 - Service to the club
2 - Number of games
3 - Honours won
4 - International caps
5 - Exceptional ability.
There are now 57 members of Hall of Fame and you can read about them on the right side of this page.
Each year the candidates are picked by a panel consisting of Murray, legends John Greig and Sandy Jardine and club historian David Mason who also made sure that the most deserving men from the early days found their place.
Hall of Fame - it's the place where legends live on.
