EL NÁUFRAGO

El único sobreviviente de un naufragio llegó a la playa de una diminuta y deshabitada isla. El oró fervientemente a Dios pidiéndole ser rescatado, y cada día escudriñaba el horizonte buscando ayuda, pero no parecía llegar.

Cansado, finalmente optó por construirse una cabaña de madera para
protegerse de los elementos y almacenar sus pocas pertenencias.


Un día, tras merodear por la isla en busca de alimento, regresó a casa para encontrar su cabañita envuelta en llamas, con el humo ascendiendo hasta el cielo. Lo peor había ocurrido... lo había perdido todo. Quedó anonadado con tristeza y rabia. "Dios: cómo me pudiste hacer esto a mi!" se lamentó. Temprano al día siguiente, sin embargo, fue despertado por el sonido de un barco que se acercaba a la isla. Había venido a rescatarlo.
¿Cómo supieron que estaba aquí?, preguntó el cansado hombre a sus salvadores.
"Vimos su señal de humo", contestaron ellos.
Es fácil descorazonarse cuando las cosas marchan mal. Pero no debemos desanimarnos, porque Dios trabaja en nuestras vidas, aún en medio del dolor, la incertidumbre y el sufrimiento.
¡Ten fe! Dios está contigo y te ayudará a salir adelante.

The sole survivor of a shipwreck came to the beach and a tiny uninhabited island. The fervently prayed to God asking to be rescued, and scrutinized the horizon every day looking for help, but did not appear to arrive.

Tired, finally opted to build a wooden hut for
protected from the elements and store their few belongings.


One day after merodear by the island in search of food, returned home to find his little cabin engulfed in flames, with smoke ascending to heaven. The worst had happened ... I had lost everything. He was overwhelmed with sadness and anger. "God, how I could do this to me!" lamented. Early the next day, however, was awakened by the sound of a boat that was approaching the island. He had come to rescue him.
How knew you were here? Asked the man to their tired rescuers.
"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.
It is easily discouraged when things go wrong. But we must not discouraged, because God works in our lives, even in the midst of pain, uncertainty and suffering.
Have faith! God is with you and help you succeed.
