Howdy folks and welcome to a special edition of The Ross Report.
That´s right, it´s that time of the year again. We are just a few days away from WrestleMania XIX and what a show our Super Bowl is tuning up to be. With Hollywood Hulk Hogan taking on Stone Cold Steve Austin in the Icon vs. Icon showdown for the World Title and SmackDOWN!´s Fatal Four Way main event this years Showcase will undoubtly go down in history.
It´s always said that whenever SummerSlam is over, planning for WrestleMania begins, and that to an extent it true. But the solid foundations for The Showcase of the Immortals began in January with the Royal Rumble and it´s been quite an eventful road to get to the point we are now.
It seems that WrestleMania fever has affected just about everybody in the WWE, from the stars in the back to the front office workers everyone has that extra spring in their step, morale has been at an all time high, work rate has been of an ´above and beyond the call of duty´ standard as everybody wants to have their spot on the card, everyone wants to showcase their talent on the grandest stage of them all, and judging by the card, everyone has got their spot - from vetrans like SA to up-and-comers like Forxx.
What more can i say that i havn´t already? WrestleMania is The Showcase of the Immortals and will go down in the record books as the best show in sports entertainment history, that´s not meant to sound egotistical, hell i´m not the one who is going to go out there and give a performance of a lifetime infront of 75, 000 in Safeco Field. It´s simply a testament, to those great men who take great risks for our viewing pleasure. WrestleMania is their moment of ultimate glory, let them revel in it as they so rightfully deserve.
I´ll see you in a few weeks in a brand new format of The Ross Report, have a good one
