It appears to be very much unfair to me for us (humanity) to be judged by one man's transgression, Adam. Who through His disobedience the whole world suffered a thorn of Sin. How is one to view GOD in such circumstances? A question does arise; "what manner of character is GOD? How can He put a curse upon all humanity for the sin of one man"? Gen.3:17."CURSED IS THE GROUND FOR YOUR SAKE, IN TOIL YOU SHALL EAT OF IT, ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE!". Through one man sin was brought into the world, through one man hell was waiting for almost all humanity.
God in turn wanted to do something to reconcile man to Himself. So He gave Moses the law for His people to live with. Yet less could keep up with what the law required of them. And much wrath was laid upon humanity for their transgression against the law of GOD.
In that way then, law imputed sin on us. Romans.4:15. "BECAUSE THE LAW BRINGS ABOUT WRATH, FOR WHERE THERE IS NO LAW THERE IS NO TRANSGRESSION." the law therefor became very difficult for man to keep, its somehow comprehensible why man could'nt live up to the law's requirements, and I believe that this crossed GOD's mind as well; that it is not as easy to get out of a pit as it is to fall inside it. Much better for ADAM, he knew exactly how he fell inside this pit, pity you and me; born inside a pit and expected to lift ourself out of it, yet not knowing really how we got into it at the first place! Very much unfair, its unfair that we had to not only choose, but also to work our way out of something we never chose to be in from the start. This is exactly what the law required from us;
To work our way out of sin, while we purposefuly never got ourselves into it.
But again. Thanks and praises be to our most High GOD, He who is alone wise, loving and merciful. He altered the whole thing, yet with much carefulness not to work against His own reputation and integrity. Sin is punishable, and the reward for sin is death. To justify lawlesness and sin somebody had to die in the name of justice, and this justice was brought through the death of one man again, just as sin came through Adam, it was destroyed through CHRIST JESUS. Therefore, i find it very much foolish of man (as it has been argued by many) to speak of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY while it was never given to any of us a chance from the start to choose or choose-not to be born under Sin.
