A bevy of Bollywood stars including Aksay Kumar, Priety Zinta and four Bachans have descended on Bangkok for IIFA ceremony, but where is the Bollywood Badshah? This has become the question of every family living there to Indian media. They got really disappointed hearing that, India's global superstar Shah Rukh Khan would give the ceremony a miss. Many families are saying that they bought pass for the night only to have a glimpse of their dearest actor.
It is being believed that the reason behind Shah Rukh Khan's absence is the presence of Amitabh Bachan as IIFA's brand ambassidor. But some days ago while talking with some reporters Shah Rukh Khan said that the reason behind is his children's summer vacation and he liked to spend time with his kids rather than going to a foreign country.
But all Bollywood pundits aren't willing to believe it. Because last year IIFA ceremony was held in London, where Shah Rukh Khan generally spends his summer vacation. Then why he missed that show?
