Arnold Chiari Malformation
I was diagnosed with a rare condition of the brain called "Arnold Chiari Malformation" (ACM) There is 1 in a thousand people who have this condition which is only detected by an MRI scan. A couple of my symptoms are as follows...severe headaches which i find it easier to describe like this. Imagine a balloon being blown up to its height as pain that gets worse as the balloon gets bigger and bursts and the pain subsides to nothing.When the pain is there, i have no thought-blank! The pain can also be brought on by sneezing,coughing and laughing. I used to love to have a laugh, but these days i'm find it difficult to laugh properly because of the pain i get. There so many symptoms associated with this complaint.Before i knew what was wrong with me, i was told it was all in my head and even i thought i was going crazy. If you want to know more on this subjest look up "Arnold Chiari Malformation" I hav'nt come across anyone who has this comlpaint at all, so i feel quite alone with it...Astra!
