Arnold Chiari Malformation(ACM)
I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation(ACM) Type 2.I had an MRI scan about 2 years ago now, nothing was ever explained to me and i hav'nt come across anyone else here in the UK with this condition,it is a rare brain deformation which is also associated with children who have spina-bifida and can also be inherited.
Some of the sympoms are severe headaches, memory loss, stuttering, difficulty getting words out even though you know what you want to say also walking ability is impaired too and many more symptoms....
There is one in a thousand people who suffer from ACM. No-one would know they have it unless the have an MRI scan.If anyone has got this condition in the south east of England please email me as i've got no-one to discuss this with...Astra!
