Dingwall, Scotland - traveltidbits

Dingwall, Scotland
Our Rating: 4/10
Dingwall, Scotland - scotland
We went to Dingwall´s campground first which was ok except for the constant rain. We later ran a B & B there. It´s a small commercial town with all ammenities, about 13 miles from Inverness.
Best places to eat and drink: The Rock...The Mallard...Dingwall Tandoori...Breadsnappers.
Other things to do: not alot. A small museum...A couple of decent walks (find the one leading to Cats Back, it has good views). There is no hostel in Dingwall, several B & Bs, a campground, and a couple hotels. The best and most cheerful time to visit is a warm, dry summer day. You get a beautiful view of the second highest mountain in Scotland, Ben Wyvis, in Dingwall. It looks nice pretty much all year round if it´s a clear day.
Any questions or comments on Dingwall, please let us know.
