Hello I'm Outlaw and I was born & raised in trucking. Some have accused me of havin #2 diesel runnin thru my veins. HaHa! My late grandfather started a small truck comp. in 1940. Now with 2nd & 3rd generation runnin it.
Ive been in all ends of the business. From helping dispatch, to turning wrenches keepin them runnin, even occasionally dock work to transfer a load, to steerin and gearin them down the road. I began driving shortly after college, and though my dad had preferred me not to he understood it was in my blood.
I really enjoyed driving, so on April 12 2001 I purchase my own Kenworth W900L. Which I quickly became very attached to as i drove it and molded it to my taste. On October 12 2005 I purchased a Great Dane 48 foot Spread Axle Reefer to complete my ride. In August 2007 i decided to sell my truck to become a more active part of the family business. The company bought it and i'm still driving it.
In December 2006 i met the lady of my dreams. We are building our lives together now becoming a family. Til this summer shes runnin team wit me so we can build our relationship and our budget up. Ms.Hazey is what she goes by, and believe me shes a beauti to behold and makes quite the steerin and gearing princess. Liz, sweetie i love you so much and have enjoyed the blessing to my life you are so far, and look forward to our long life together. MUAHZZZ! On May 31 2008 we were married among family and friends.
The industry has changed so much over last few years, but its still what i love to do and can't even imagine doin nothin else. The fuel prices are still up so high and really cut into the profits. The big hours of service changes, tougher situations to monitor safety issues and money schemes. Its very clear now that dave dudley was right when he said there ain't no easy run.
