Directions to Irby Cricket Club
The club´s normal meeting place is the clubhouse of Irby Cricket Club. The cricket ground is located on the easterly side of Mill Hill Road, Irby. The NGR is SJ 254 857. It is located on page 102, in squares B1 & B2 of ´The Geographers A-Z of Liverpool´.
The nearest exit from the M53 to the Club will be junction No.2 or No.3. Either way, it is just about 3.5 Miles to the Club from the Motorway, and should you miss your turning, the next exit is only two miles away. We are just over one mile south of the centre of Greasby, not far from The Irby Mill pub.
The entrance to the cricket ground appears to be from a small lay-by, which is actually formed from the line Mill Hill Road used to take. The gateway is set in the hedgerow, with the cricket club sign alongside the gate. The car park is immediately on the left and the clubhouse is at the end of the drive. Please don´t park on the driveway.
