~DJP~
Deferred Judgement Principle
~DJP~ - djp

Take a piece of paper and in three minutes list ways you might improve a calendar.
Fifteen or more ideas is outstanding.Ten - fifteen is excellent.Five - ten is good.Less than five, not so good.
Did you have an idea that you didn't put down for some reason, because you thought it impractical, might cost too much, had been tried before, was too obvious.
In other words, did you try to evaluate each idea as it popped into your conscious mind?
You may find that you thought up ideas that did not seem sensible or important enough to put down.
Most of us edit out ideas and this tends to inhibit the flow of ideas. The very powerful principle is:Think First,Judge Later.
Put down each and every idea or notion that occurs to you - good, bad or indifferent, practical or not obvious or way out.All ideas.
As you jot down ideas, one idea will trigger others.Your associative processes which are the heart of your creative power will function more naturally,if given free rein.
The way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas.
