TNA Impact Wrestling’s plans in India are ready to kickoff on December 15th. The company will take a group of talent to the country on that date to begin filming for a new TV show on the Colors Network. They will be there for an entire week. The project will feature names currently on the TNA roster and some popular indy names but will feature different ring names to avoid trademark conflicts. TNA is behind the project but will not use their name or logo.

The Tuesday, November 29, 2011 live edition of WWE Smackdown scored a final cable rating of 2.0, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 2.0 final number marks an increase from the 1.87 rating for the previous show, but is slightly under the Friday night average over the past ten weeks.

According to sources, one reason WWE decided to release Mickie James along with the five other WWE releases today was because of some incidents during the recent European tour.
As if travel were not bad enough on the tour, Mickie James reportedly made things worse on more than one occassion when she arrived late for the bus, which held up travel for the rest of the WWE crew. That was considered the final straw, she was also in trouble in recent past, which resulted in her being moved to SmackDown! in a disciplinary action on the part of WWE.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that due to the Raw crew being stranded in Europe, the current plan is to have the Smackdown crew carry the Raw show tonight in East Rutherford, NJ. Should the Raw crew somehow make it back to the states in time, of course they will appear on the show, but as of right now that is looking impossible, so Raw will go on as planned, and it will feature the Smackdown crew which has landed back in the states.

According to a report on ProWrestling.net, Jeff Hardy suffered some minor burns during the fireball spot with James Storm which aired this past Monday night on Impact. The show was taped on Tuesday night of the previous week, Apparently TNA had a stunt expert work with both guys before the event started. According to one source, the fact that Hardy was burnt during the spot is pretty much considered Storm's fault due to the fact that they had practiced it several times with an expert before doing it live during the taping.

Shawn Michaels is very interested in developing a reality TV show that will be centered around his "life after wrestling." WWE recently issued another round of drug tests within the company, and it included a test given to those who will appear on the upcoming WrestleMania card. It should be interesting to see if the card changes at all prior to the event should anyone fail the test, or if there are any sudden suspensions after WrestleMania which could indicate failures prior to Mania, with WWE deciding to keep those talents on the card.

The final cable rating for the Tuesday, March 9th edition of WWE NXT On SyFy came in at a 1.0. NXT is now officially where ECW was in the ratings when the company decided to shut the brand down.

TNA officials seem to be confident Jeff Hardy will be found "not guilty" on felony drug charges later this month as they have signed him to a contract. Hardy worked the January 4th Impact on a per-show deal but worked this week's TVs under a contract.
Hardy has telling people he was glad to be in TNA last night and his significant other Beth Britt has formed a good friendship with TNA president Dixie Carter.
Furthermore Hardy is happy to be working with his good friend Shannon Moore (who signed a contract earlier this month with TNA as well). The feeling is Shane Helms will join them in TNA once his 90-day non compete clause expires from his WWE contract. Hardy will stand trial on drug charges in his home state of North Carolina next week March 17, 2010.

According to a source, Shawn Michaels approached Sheamus and said, "in case you haven't heard, I'm not going to be around much after WrestleMania, and it's time for the guys like you to step up and main event with all the current top guys, and then bring up the next tier and make them top guys. Your time is NOW!"
Words to that effect. We have been reporting for several weeks now that Shawn Michaels plans to take time off after WrestleMania, but this time around it might be different since there is no time table for his return. This doesn't mean that he will lose to The Undertaker at the PPV, but that his time off could be significantly longer this time around that it was last year after WrestleMania 25. I was even told that HBK could be held off until next year's 'Mania when he can do the big sendoff much like WWE did for Ric Flair.
I was also told that Sheamus is being told by guys like HBK to step up in every conceivable way, and that he needs to be a leader to the young guys, but at the same time he needs to be very careful not to step on Randy Orton's toes. That's as big of a part of this story as anything, because a lot of the locker room really likes Randy because he has stood up when the time's right, and also because they all feel he's truly the best in the ring right now, even though his temper tantrums in and out of the ring have some people pointing fingers.

After Raw went off the air last night, Sheamus did a run-in to help Batista beat up Cena. Triple H then came out and the dark match main event of Triple H and John Cena vs Sheamus and Batista was made. Cena and HHH won the match, and a funny thing happened during the bout. Triple H's music hit for about 5 seconds in the middle of the match, and Triple H looked around and mouthed "I'm already here" which drew a good laugh from the audience.

The report is indicating that HHH has been suffering from recent quadriceps pain and that he might require the summer off to rest up and heel the injury. For those wondering how Shawn Michaels got under the chamber at last night's Elimination Chamber PPV, several fans who attended the show noted that while the viewers were watching the recap of the Raw Chamber match from earlier in the night, the lights went out in the arena and only the TitanTron was on. In the darkness, several crew members made their way to the ring and HBK was hidden amongst them. This is how Hornswoggle usually gets under the ring at events.

The Undertaker was livid over the pyrotechnic accident that happened during his entrance at last night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Undertaker shared his frustration with referee Jack Doan after the accident happened and let both Vince and Stephanie McMahon have it when he got to the back. I do not have 100% word on the extent of his injuries but I'm told they appeared minor as his pants and right boot were charred by the flames. The accident was "ugly" according to those sitting close to the entrance.

Its being said, Bret Hart is making a "large 6-figure salary" from WWE for his short-term contract that runs through Wrestlemania. Also, Stu Hart is expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year and there may be a push to induct Owen Hart as well. Several people within the company feel Owen should be inducted but ultimately it is Vince McMahon's decision.
Editor says: We all knew it would take a lot for Bret Hart to return to the company and from what I'm told, he's getting paid a lot just to basically "show up" and take part in a Wrestlemania angle. TNA has decided to permanently air Impact on Monday nights as they feel the time is right to go head-to-head with WWE. As of now, the plan is to air a live Impact every other Monday night, and tape an Impact broadcast on Tuesday nights which will air on the Monday nights that the show does not air live. It is unclear at this time whether or not Impact will retain or change its current 9-11pm time slot. The move to Monday nights is expected to take place in March, following the head-to-head broadcast that TNA has announced for 3/1.

WWE wrestler Greg "Hurricane" Helms allegedly smacked several people -- including a woman -- before he and Chris Jericho were arrested at a Kentucky gas station yesterday, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. We're told several people were in a taxi cab with Helms and Jericho when things allegedly got violent around 4 AM yesterday. Cops say they spoke to several members of the group who told them Helms struck three people -- including Jericho, a man named Gary Kelley and a female passenger named Ashley Storer. Witnesses told cops Helms ran from the scene right after the violent incident but returned to the gas station soon after, where he -- along with Jericho -- was arrested for being drunk in public. Cops say Helms was not arrested for the alleged attack because the alleged victims have not pressed charges -- a requirement for an arrest in Kentucky if the police do not witness the attack. Ashley told cops she did not want to file charges against Helms -- but Kelley told police he's mulling it over and may go after the wrestler.

The Kingston Times News has reported that former WWE & TNA star Kid Kash, real name David Cash, has been arrested on charges of identity theft, theft of property and forgery. Specifically, he was arrested on 4 counts of identity theft, 2 counts of forgery under $500 and four counts of theft of property under $500. According to the report, the charges came about when Cash allegedly used the credit card of a female acquaintance four times without her permission. Cash is maintaining that he had permission to use the card, and had used it multiple times with the female's permission. Cash is being held on $10,000 bond in a Washington County detention center in Tennessee and is scheduled to go before the court on 1/4/10.

New details have emerged online today about the late Andrew "Test" Martin. According to the article, Martin who was found dead last March at the age of 33, suffered from brain damage. Dr Bennet Omalu, co-director of the Brain Injury Research Institute, said that further examination of Martin’s body revealed that he had "chronic traumatic encephalopathy stemming from repeated blows to the head." The damage was said to be similar to that of Chris Benoit's, whose brain "resembled an 85-year-old with Alzheimer's." Dr. Omalu goes on to explain that after repeated blows to the head, at some point, the brain loses the ability to heal itself. Andrew Martin was also said to have abuse issues with steroids, painkillers, and alcohol. His death was said to be due to an overdose of OxyContin, a pain killer administered to Cancer patients.
Umaga is also mentioned in the article as being another wrestler who passed away in his 30s.

New information has been released on the Chris Jericho situation. Police arrested the man and woman involved but later released them without charge. Their story is that Jericho made a racist comment to them so they called Jericho a racist. Jerico spitted on the female. So she pushed him, They say Jericho then hit the female in the face sending her to the floor. I'l add more as and when news is released. 09th February

Chris Jericho was assaulted by a man and woman after a WWE house show. Jericho was able to escape in his car after fans and security broke up the fight. The man and woman fled the scene before police arrived. Police are now investigating. 09th February
