prospect of peace in the 21 st century is a most fascinating n engulfing subject . before making an article for peace in the 21 st century , it is imperative to review the events of the 20th century in this respect .
the 20th century was full of warrs , battles n struggles . there was THE FIRST WORLD WAR (1914 TO 1918) followed by the second world war (1939 to 1945) , then the " Pearl Harbour " incident took place , which was followed by the bombing of " HIROSHIMA n NAGASAKI " .the Vietnam war , lasted for about twenty years n left millions of dead n many orphaned .
then there were freedom struggles in India n Africa from the British rule . besides these , three Indo-Pak wars also took place , which left thousands dead , orphaned , n homeless . efforts were made by various countries of the world to bring global peace n for this purpose " United nations organization " was established by a group of fifty one countries alongwith , five countries with a vetopower namely USA , England , Russia , China n France . the first lady president of this organization was VijayLaxmi Pandit of India . despite all efforts made by the UNO , peace could not b achieved . in the very first year of the 21st century another form of evil sprung up viz. , international terrorism . on 11 sep 2001 , the whole world was alarmed by the terrorists who had hijacked an american plane n rammed into the world trade centre demolishing the entire building .hence the chances for global peace is turning out to b very bleak

peace is the creation of happiness;war is a satanic institution
it is said " if u want to change the world start it from u "
come let us grow up as a peace loving generation so that war may disappear for good from the face of the earth
