Another Aspect of Lal Masjid Limbo!!
In the Recent Days This issue was really a burning issue. But now there is really a deafening silence from the people representing two different religious ideas. The ones who are the torch bearers of an idea are saying that their dissidents wrong and are manifesting their ideas in their rhetoric; verbal or written. But now after the first phase of the conflict is over with the death of Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi; as seen by many political pundits. But the point of view which I basically want to highlight is not political. The thing which has basically urged me to writ this all is that Most people especially the so called “Enlightened” and “Moderated” people are regarding Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi as an insane extremist and religious fanatic. Ok they might be right in their point of view. But lets suppose a possibility- as no one has seen ALLAH and HE only reveals HIS secrets to very few and the world is always oblivious of the truth and we all don’t know the real ‘Reality” beyond this all. But Let us assume a possibility that Maulana Abdul Aziz was at the “Right Path”. Than now predict what is going to Happen with Pakistan and especially with the so called “Enlightened” government people. Aren’t we all are going to hell? What will happen to all those who are just blaming Maulana and are giving their verdicts against the personality of Maulana’ standing in the row marked as Moderated Muslims. Let me clear one thing here to you all that a muslim is never a moderate or extremist muslim. He is either a muslim or not. The one ho follows the Shariah completely, are we daring to call him extremist? And adding more to horror, we have made this term “Extremist” an abuse, coming in the venomous propaganda of the west.
Most of us are really influenced by the west. We all love those things which bear the tags of some European country or USA because they are supposed to be of high quality and those belonging to desi market are crap for us ( pardon me for using this slang here as used by some one else – as it doesn’t suit at least my king of conversation). We have indeed made the western culture our standard and are deriving each and every decision from their perspective. I m being recalled a verse from Allama Iqbal here;
Apni Millat pe Qayaas Aqwam e Maghrib se na Kar
Khaas Hai Tarkeeb mein Qaum e rasool e Hashmi
Meaning by;
Don’t make westerners your standard as the ummah of Prophet Muhammad is Special in its ingredients.
What ever they say is right and whatever Islam is saying is wrong. No if they say that a person following the Shariah is extremist so the “moderate muslims” call them extremists. We follow and look upon that part of religion which can please them. I do agree that Islam is indeed a religion of Peace but we do have right to protect our religion and to impose it by any means and that’s our right. Man is indeed free to choose it religion but once a muslim than we have to abide by the rules and laws of Islam what ever it says even if goes against our interests and interests of our beloved ones. We have to work for the justice and punish those who are not abiding the rules. Now f the government is not doing its job than who will do it? This is a million dollar question that we have to ask ourselves.
What happened in this whole fiasco of Lal Masjid though not according to the Shariah but Islam does allow us to stand against injustice and lawlessness. Ok leave islam ask yourself another Question thati it allowed in the constitution of Pakistan to sell blue movies and CDs and to run brothel house? As the answer is clearly “No”. Then surely government Is not doing its job either. So some one has to come out. Islam is allowing us to stand against injustice. When Islam allowed the companions to ask Umar ( May Allah be pleased with him) that why are you wearning two pieces of clothings asothers are wearing one than anyone can ask Musharaf as well.
But the problem here that we are propagating that part of islam which works according to the interests of the west and all the Jihad part and the rest are being considered “out of syllabus”. And the most of these spiel are raised mostly by women if we take a close look. Women or lady – is never on top in any of the religion in the world. In the book of genesis acceptable to both jews and Christians chapter no 3, verses 13 – 16, the passage read as follows;
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent abeguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the LORD God said unto the aserpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art bcursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put aenmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; bit shall cbruise thy head, and thou shalt dbruise his heel.
16 Unto the awoman he said, I will greatly bmultiply thy csorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth dchildren; and thy desire shall be to thy ehusband, and he shall rule over thee.
Now this is not Islam that’s says that women are inferior rather their religion is saying the same. But the westerners have manipulated this aspect more than any other by saying that Islam doesn’t give due rights to women. Islam does say that women are inferior in Understanding and it does stand good. And is as proven in all this propaganda. They are really acting as “bombshells” to our culture and society. Because women are thinking that they are not given due share and are held captive against their will inside the houses. Islam is never against the women working outside and neither am I. But women are making hard for u to digest when they talk against their own religion and people who are rightly following the religion.
I hope I need not to remind you all the story of Mansoor Halaaj. Who was hanged to death when he shouted “Anal Haq ( I m The Truth – God)” and Hazrat Junaid Baghdadi-again a renowned Sufi of his time issued a fatwa against him as it was all work of Almighty. Persons on both sides were taking his name. And as reported, in the end both were forgiven. Indeed at that time the divinity was at its full pride when there was a limbo regarding the truth and still both parties were at the right path. Just like that, It makes me feel that Maulana Abdul Aziz was a modern day Mansoor Halaaj. He died for what he thought was right and he was killed by those who thought that he was wrong. May be both were at the right path but just think that at the moment he was killed or martyred long with the commandos taking part in operation silence, how proud divinity will be at that moment, because there was a limbo regarding in the name of ALLAH on being right path and that has surely served the purpose for which this world was created.
But in the end, a word of advice from my side is that we must refrain from passing comments against Maulana Abdul Aziz. The only person which I think at the wrong stance was none other than our beloved tyrant President. Who just wants to prove his supremacy over others. As suggested by all that he was agitated by the death of the colonel Is totally a wrong notion. Army is no more that much possessive about its men now a days – that is another story that they pretend it like that. The Colonel is not an issue, West was the issue. But before you say anything about Maulana must rethink all this at least once. Rest Allah knows the best and he must show us the right path and may he take Maulana into his specil blessings, Amen!
