THE LAW OF THREEFOLD RETURN
Also known as the Law of Cause and Effect. The law states that anything you send out magickally will return to you threefold.
Threefold does not refer to it actuall coming back to you three times, but coming back to you in three different levels - the physical, mental/emotional and the spiritual level.
LAW OF CYCLICAL RETURN
If you are unable to overcome a karmic obsticle, or unable to learn from mistakes in your life; you will continue to face that obstacle until you learn how to overcome it.
All other growth in your life will be stunted until you do so. This applies not to just to this life, such a cycle can continue over several lifetimes. This is basically the law of karma and is connected to the previously mentioned Law of Threefold return.
LAW OF POLARITY
In each thing there is an opposite: chaos/order, positive/negative, yin/yang etc.
Both are inherently within each other, resulting in dynamic interaction and power It is for this reason that the use of such polarities is a source of power within magickal practice.
LAW OF ATTRACTION
Following on from the Law of Polarity, such opposites are attracted to each other.
THE LAW OF BALANCE
This law comes into play after the Law of Attraction. Opposite forces will always naturally fall into balance is left undisturbed.
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions" is good way of explaining what happens if this law is ignored. If you do magickal work when none is needed, you may cause imbalance, resulting in you causing the opposite of what you were trying to achieve by doing good out of vanity, rather than need.
LAW OF TRIPLE INVOCATION
All invocation must occur three times to be successful. This triple invocation can either occur in the same fashion, such as vocally ("I invoke you, I invoke you, I invoke you") or on three different levels, such as by visualization, by vocalization, and by action.
LAW OF KNOWLEDGE
(Including Self Knowledge)
The basis of this law is understanding brings control. Knowledge is essential for spiritual growth as well as becoming adept at magickal practice. The more that is known about a subject, the easier it is to exercise control over it; the more that is known about the self, the easier it is to control the self.
THE LAW OF REFLECTION
Most commonly expressed by occultists by the phrase. "As above so below." Everything on this material level of reality has its reflection on the higher astral levels.
THE LAW OF UNITY
Everything in the universe is connected. This means all events past, present and future are linked. It is only our inadequate senses that perceive seperation in the universe. Therefore all magical acts will affect the whole universe in someway, however minor the effect may be perceived to be.
