TO KNOW
This refers to knowledge about magick and what makes it work. Know the basic working principles of a magickal operation before it is attempted. There is a saying in magick that knowledge is power, so to have power, first have knowledge.
Learn all you can about deity, the Elements and ritual. Read several books about each aspect of the Craft. Acquint yourself with as many different authors and veiwpoints as you can. Gather knowledge from wherever you can get it.
TO WILL
This is the ability to concentrate, focus attention, and direct the will to manifest desire. Practitioners must be able to force their will upon the universe, in a positive and powerfull way, to accomplish their desires. In magick, you must be able to control your surroundings, which include the mind and body.
TO DARE
This is the courage to challenge ideas, to be able to stand up for what you believe in. Dare to be strong. To have the courage to make their will manifest desire without fear or doubt.
TO KEEP SILENT
The practitioner must shut out, and off, all outside distractions and learn to concentrate and focus. The well trained witch doesnt discuss what he does because it dissipates energy and power.
EDITOR'S NOTE - Perhaps this also relates to what I have read that Wicca states that all religions lead to unity with the devine. We all choose n must not run around trying to convert others to convert - the path finds you.
