The shot that rang out from a Washington State greenhouse resonated through a generation´s psyche. It brought to an abrupt end the piercing, brutal, brilliant, sometimes agonised music of Kurt Cobain, and his band Nirvana.
The announcement of Cobain´s death sent shock waves through the music industry. To the thousands of mourning fans who flocked to his memorial, the Nirvana leader was much more than just another dead rock star: he was an overnight icon. But amongst the burning candles and scribbled messages of grief, seeds of doubt were already being cultivated. What were the exact circumstances leading up to Cobain´s death?
