The scene: a winter´s day, 20 February 1967.
The location: Aberdeen, a small logging town near Seattle on the northwest coast of America were Kurt Donald Cobain was born. His was a normal, lower middle class upbringing. "My mom would dress me in nice sweaters and comb my hair", he recalled later. "She wouldn´t allow me to hang out with white trash, even though that´s what we were, really".
Young Kurt was a misunderstood, a loner, "I was a mug, basically", he summed up. "I chose to live the life of a recluse, the geek. I didn´t hang out with anyone else because i couldn´t handle their stupidity. People picked on me, but, at the same time, girls liked me, so i was accepted".
