[ABORYM]

Aborym

ABORYM formed back in 1991 as a three piece Black Metal band, bloody inspired by cult bands like Sarcofago, Mayhem, Sodom, Destruction, Morbid, Bathory and Rotting Christ. In 1993 the band released the first demo tape ‘Worshipping Damned Souls’. The year after the band splitted up. In the four following years there was a strong desire to reform the damned combo, but Malfeitor Fàbban (the only survivor of the original line-up) decided to work alone as he could not find any strong personalities. From 1993 to 1997 Malfeitor Fàbban played with Funeral Oration in ‘Sursum Luna’ CD (1996, Avantgarde Music), with Deviate Ladies in ‘Religious As Our Methods’ CD (1997, Metal Horse Prod.) and with Stormlord in ‘Where My Spirit Forever Shall Be’ MCD (1998, Last Episode). Than he moved in Rome and started again the ABORYM project with two new serious musicians/individuals: Frather Sethlans D.T.A. (guitars) and Yorga S.M. (lead vocals). With this line-up Aborym recorded a promo CD and signed a deal with Scarlet. In the end of 1998 Aborym entered in Temple Of Noise Studios (Rome) and in March 1999 Aborym finally released the debut-album ‘Kali Yuga Bizarre’, an original and frightening mix between Black Metal, Industrial Noise, Esoteric music and symphonic/cerebral stuff. Nine tracks of weird, violent, strong and lisergic black metal far away from boring clichees and silly trends! ‘Kali Yuga Bizarre’ features legendary singer Attila Csihar (Mayhem/Tormentor/Plasma Pool) who joined the band as a permanent member, and A.G.H. Volgar, Deviate Ladies leader, as special-guest.After the recording session of ‘Kali Yuga Bizarre’ a new guitarist has been added to the line-up: Nisrok S. Sathanas, leader of Satanic Terrorists. ‘Klali Yuga Bizarre’ has been considered from the critics as one of the most ‘creative’ and ‘impressive’ extreme-metal album of the year 1999 and a lot pf important and wellknown ‘prime-movers’ of the black metal scene like Samoth, Fenriz, Bard Faust, Killjoy and Abbath ..
