*BROOM: Used primarily as a purifier. Many Wiccans start of their rituals by sweeping the area where the Circle is to be cast, to remove any negative energies. *WAND: For drawing magickal symbols in the air or on the ground, and for calling upon the Goddess. *Athame: Used for connecting the energy from the source of infinity above, the sky, stars and air, with the source of energy below, Mother Earth. It is used to direct energies and open and close doorways in your circle. *BOLLINE: Used in the gather of herbs and plants. Also to inscribe symbols into candles and cutting wands. *PENTACLE: To place in the center of your altar. *CAULDRON: Spells can be created within the cauldron. *CANDLES: 4 Candles are placed, 1 at each of the 4 quarters, the East, South, West and North, on the outside rim of the circle.
*CUP/CHALICE: Used to symbolically joining the male and female aspectr. At the end of a ritual you would drink your water, wine or fresh juice from the chalice. *BELL: Ringing a bell to purify and clear the air's energy around you, and can be used to call upon the Goddess, as it's
*DINNER CANDLE: used for element fire, placed at the south section of your table. *JUG OF WATER: Representing water, placed at west section of your table. *DISH OF SALT: Representing element earth, placed north section of your table. *EMPTY DISH: for blending water and salt during your ceremony. *CANDLE SNUFF: To put out your camdles. Never blow out your candles as you will undo your work. *CLOTH: To clean hands during and rituals.
